FRIED POTATOES

Boil about 6 medium potatoes with skins left on. Slice them thin. Melt 1/4 pound butter in a skillet and place potatoes in pan with a layer of chopped green pepper and diced onions on top. Sprinkle with 1/2 teaspoon ofthyme, 1/2 teaspoonbasil, and 1/2 teaspoonmarjoram. Add a pinch of garlic salt and chopped freshparsleyin generous amounts. Add more butter if needed. Fry until golden brown.
