Description: Also called garden marigold or pot marigold. Annual. Petals of the calendula plant have been used for medicinal purposes for centuries. This plant thrives in virtually any soil. Calendula is a bright and cheery plant that blooms all summer from June until frost. This plant is attractive to bees, butterflies and birds. Flowers are edible, a beautiful addition to salads.
