Description:
Chives can be grown indoors and out. They are grown for the flavor
of their leaves, somewhat like onion, although much milder. Both the stems and
light purple flowers are used in cooking and the snipped leaves are an addition
to many dishes. Chives are perennial in the garden and grow approximately 12
inches tall. They are extremely easy to grow and are drought tolerant.
